Currently Lelystad Airport is Holland's biggest General Aviation airport. Equipped with a modern terminal, the airport is capable to receive medium body passengers aircraft as business jets.

In near future Lelystad Airport will expand to a modern regional airport. Plans are to extend the length of the runway up to 2100m. This way Boeing 737 as A320 will be capable to land in Lelystad Airport.

Lelystad is situated only 10 minutes from Lelystad. With the highway A6 only three minutes away and the A28 ten minutes away, the airport is excellent to reach.
